Italbest Triple Offset Valve is a new-generation high-end valve, has a 1/4 turn, metal-to-metal seal, “zero” leakage valve with anti-friction design that offers lower operating torque, longer service life, and offers flow control solutions for a wide range of applications.
Offset 1:
The first offset is between the planes of the shaft and the plane of the housing, which allows complete seal contact around the housing seat.
Offset 2:
The second offset is a distance by which the shaft is displaced from the normal axis of the flow line, thus giving a cam effect and rotation with reduced friction during valve actuation.
Offset 3:
The third offset is an inclined conical profile cut into the valve sealing surface, allowing rotary engagement and disengagement of the seal ring on the body seat without interference. This eliminates all rubbing between the seat and the seal ring.
Our triple eccentric valves are API 609, ASME B16.10 and ISO 5752 compliant and designed using state-of-the-art software and engineering tools such as Creo for 3D CAD.
